HEADTEACHER’S SPEECH
It gladdens my heart to welcome you to this great citadel of learning, His Lordship Private Schools. HLPS is a group of schools set up by our founder for with great vision and mission inspired by the passion to raise children who are positioned for leadership in their generation.
Our door was first opened in September 2009 and ever since then the door has remained wide open and the testimonies of individuals who partners with us have been wonderful. The Pre-School and the Primary Section of the school has grown in leap and bound ever since the first day we kicked off operation.
The Creche (The babies’ class) is well equipped with diverse and modern playing materials and toys. Likewise the class is manned by experience and professional teacher. Our Pre-School in general is a place where pupils learn with fun or where learning takes place with fun because of the professionals and experience facilitators that are top-notch.
Our Grade classes is another place where leaders of tomorrow are built and equipped with spiritual, academic and moral values necessary for navigating through the journey to the top.
Without blackmailing the truth or setting error on the high table, I want to say that HLPS is second to none. In terms of our achievement, our pupils are trail-blazer and pace setter in all examinations registered for most especially the entrance examination (Both local and international) Our method of preparing them for these examinations is unique and our pupils are always coming out in bright colours.

Admission Process
Admission into all classes is strictly by appropriate age, merit, without bias of sex, religion or cultural background.
- Purchase of form from the School Admin Office
- Submission of completed application form with:
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
- A copy of the child’s immunization certificate.
- 2 recent passport photographs of the child.
- A recent passport photograph of the child’s collector
- A portrait sized family picture.
- A placement assessment test depending on the child’s level as follows:
- Lower Preschool: school readiness assessment of the child (the child’s state of health and level of self-expression).
- Upper Preschool: written assessment in Literacy, Mathematics and Reading in addition to ability of the child to identify, sort, communicate and socialize .
- The result of the assessment will be discussed with parents, before the child’s placement in the appropriate class.
- Parents meet with the School Head to discuss and agree on areas of collaboration and confirm their readiness in this regard. It is mandatory that new parents meet with the School Head to foster common understanding and cooperation between the school and parents.
- Admission of the child will thereafter be communicated to the parent(s) in writing after evidence of full payment.
- The School Administrator gives the bill for payment to be made. Parents are expected to signify acceptance of offer by returning the signed acceptance copy attached to the admission letter. With this done, the child’s admission into the school is completed.
His Lordship Private Schools (HLPS), a set of private independent institutions established by its promoters to provide sound and world class education to selected children whose parents are willing to partner with the organisation for the purpose of raising future champions in the various endeavours of life.
